I have today and Monday off of school for mid-winter break. :)
(Although... it's more 'beginning-of-spring break, considering it's almost 50 degrees outside, and all the snow's melted. Anyway.)
I got to looking to some clothes online, like I do a lot of the time. I keep finding all of these things that I want, but just do not have the money for.
I'm going to need to get some new clothes for spring, and I'm looking for other places to buy things cheaper.
So, I'm going to show some comparisons of things that are too pricey, versus things that are definitely in my budget.
American Eagle Sandals:
$29.50
F21 Sandals:
$13.80
American Eagle Bermuda Shorts:
$39.50
F21 Bermuda Shorts:
$19.80
Abercrombie and Fitch Tank:
$48
Charlotte Russe Tank:
$26.50
(I don't love how they show the model wearing it, but I think it would be cute with some distressed shorts and metallic sandals.)
Hollister Dress:
$49.50
Old Navy Dress:
$34.50
(I'm in looove with this dress.)
So, what do you think? Think I could pull off some summer looks for cheap?
Also, where do you go to get clothes for a bargain? I need some more ideas. ;)
Yesterday, my brother in law posted this video on Twitter.
It's short, watch it!
My bro-in-law is the tour manager for the band Hawk Nelson. Have you heard of them? They're great!
Anyway, I've met the entire band 2 or 3 times, but I've met their guitarist, Jon, over 5 times. I love these guys, they are simply the best.
Today itself was really good. Nothing special really happened until about 3rd block, when we ate ice cream and brownies. Yum.
After school my mom, dad, and I all went to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday dinner. (I didn't want my picture taken, but...)
Here we are. Did I mention I got contacts yesterday?!
I'm a complete new person since even a month ago!
Ears pierced, new haircut, braces off, and contacts. :)
(Off topic. Sorry.)
When I had gotten home from school I spotted a large box sitting outside. It was flowers from the same brother-in-law I talked about earlier, and my sister. :) How sweet! I was so happy.
It's a dozen different-colored roses. They're gorgeous.
Then, my sister emailed me this video.
(Seriously, if you didn't watch the last video, at least watch this one.)
So, yes! They are taking me to the Revolve Tour in March! I am so excited. :) They are seriously the best. Hawk Nelson will be there too, so I'll get to meet them again.
Not that I would know anything about love, of course.
Well, my loyal blog friends...
It's not exactly going to work out with D.
We talked about it, and considering that we live over 20-minutes away from each other, and go to separate schools, dating probably wouldn't be the best idea.
...sigh.
But, we decided, that if in a few months, we're both still interested either, then why the heck not. We'll give dating a try.
But it's still sad.
In the meantime... we're just gonna be friends still. So... yeah...
Oh well. I'll get over it.
BECAUSE...
My sixteenth birthday is FRIDAY!
(Photo via weheartit)
Ahhh. Have I mentioned that I absolutely heart birthdays? They're great.
I'm excited for this one. My sisterAshley keeps telling me how great my gift is; how I'm going to love it so much. Hopefully it's as good as she claims. ;)
In other news, I think I'm going to start a new series called Photo Friday. I'll post several photos that I have found throughout the week, and possibly incorporate Lauren's Fill In The Blank Friday too.
Hope it works out as great as I'm anticipating. :)
We started new classes on Monday. I think I'm going to like this schedule. I think I got a lot of good teachers - there isn't one that I don't really like. The people in the classes could be better, but, I'm not complaining. ;)
We had a snow day yesterday, thank you Jesus!
You just gotta love those unexpected bursts of happiness that occur so not often enough in Michigan. :)
Okay, okay. Enough about school.
My birthday is next Friday, and on Sunday my youth group is throwing a SuperBowl/Surprise Brittney for her Birthday party. D is gonna be there.
