More 'Teenage Rebellion'.

Lately I've sort of been looking at tattoos.
Okay, just that word.

Tattoos.

I don't know about you, but that makes me think of something like this:

When I say I want a tattoo, I want something like this:

or this:

I like the latter a little bit better.
Although, I don't think I'd actually ever take the plunge and get one. (Oh, and btw, it's another thing I'll have to wait until I'm 18 to do. haha!)

What do you guys think about tattoos? Do you have one?

Maybe a nose ring is enough for me.

Being 16, I'm sorta poor.

I have today and Monday off of school for mid-winter break. :)
(Although... it's more 'beginning-of-spring break, considering it's almost 50 degrees outside, and all the snow's melted. Anyway.)

I got to looking to some clothes online, like I do a lot of the time. I keep finding all of these things that I want, but just do not have the money for.
I'm going to need to get some new clothes for spring, and I'm looking for other places to buy things cheaper.

So, I'm going to show some comparisons of things that are too pricey, versus things that are definitely in my budget.

American Eagle Sandals:
$29.50

F21 Sandals:
$13.80

American Eagle Bermuda Shorts:
$39.50

F21 Bermuda Shorts:
$19.80

Abercrombie and Fitch Tank:
$48

Charlotte Russe Tank:
$26.50
(I don't love how they show the model wearing it, but I think it would be cute with some distressed shorts and metallic sandals.)

Hollister Dress:
$49.50

Old Navy Dress:
$34.50
(I'm in looove with this dress.)

So, what do you think? Think I could pull off some summer looks for cheap?
Also, where do you go to get clothes for a bargain? I need some more ideas. ;)

Also, here are my Photo Friday finds:

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!

Apparently it's just "Teenage Rebellion"

Lately I've been thinking about getting a nose piercing.

My mom, however, will have nothing to do with this idea whatsoever.
I sorta understand that.
A little.

I think that on some people, they can look really trashy. But on other people they can make you look that much more... well, cool!

This is a perfect example of someone actually looking GOOD with a nose ring:

Doesn't it look great on her?
Another example:

I love how it adds a little something more to her whole look.

Of course, I won't be able to get one until I'm at least 18, and moved out. Haha.

But what do you think?
Do you have a nose piercing, or would you ever get one?

Happy Birthday, to me!

It's my sweet sixteenth today!
Yay!

Yesterday, my brother in law posted this video on Twitter.
It's short, watch it!

My bro-in-law is the tour manager for the band Hawk Nelson. Have you heard of them? They're great!
Anyway, I've met the entire band 2 or 3 times, but I've met their guitarist, Jon, over 5 times. I love these guys, they are simply the best.

Today itself was really good.
Nothing special really happened until about 3rd block, when we ate ice cream and brownies. Yum.

After school my mom, dad, and I all went to Texas Roadhouse for my birthday dinner. (I didn't want my picture taken, but...)

Here we are. Did I mention I got contacts yesterday?!
I'm a complete new person since even a month ago!
Ears pierced, new haircut, braces off, and contacts. :)
(Off topic. Sorry.)

When I had gotten home from school I spotted a large box sitting outside.
It was flowers from the same brother-in-law I talked about earlier, and my sister. :) How sweet! I was so happy.

It's a dozen different-colored roses. They're gorgeous.

Then, my sister emailed me this video.
(Seriously, if you didn't watch the last video, at least watch this one.)

So, yes! They are taking me to the Revolve Tour in March! I am so excited. :) They are seriously the best. Hawk Nelson will be there too, so I'll get to meet them again.

My birthday this year was a total success. :)

And now, time for the very first ever...
Photo Friday!

Here are my finds for this week:

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

An award? For ME?

Suzy from Simply Suzanna gave me my very first blog award! Thank you so much, Suzy! How sweet. :)

Here are the rules:
1) Thank and link back to the person who gave you the award
2) Share 7 things about yourself
3) Toss this award to 15 other bloggers

~
Seven things about myself:
-I love the smell of gasoline. And Febreze.
-I like to think that I am a very loyal friend, and it bothers me a lot when people aren't back.
-I love, love, love to go shopping. But I'm really sort of bad at putting outfits together. Bad combo.
-My family owns all 9 seasons of Everybody Loves Raymond. It's our favorite show!
-My sister got me a subscription to Real Simple as a Christmas gift. I love Real Simple.(Yes...teenagers are allowed to like it too.)
-I'm terrible indecisive. Making decisions is for SURE not my strong suit. I hate it!
-All I'm looking forward to is graduating high school. I know it will be sad to close a chapter, but I am so ready to move on with my life!

Now....
15 lovely ladies I'm giving this award to:
1. Jess from LittMsSunshine
4. Celia from Create Meaning...
5. Nicole Mariana from Romanian Princess
9. Lisa from Urban Weeds

Is 9 okay...? :)

Happy day before the day before my birthday. ;)

I've got to stop listening to love songs...

Not that I would know anything about love, of course.

Well, my loyal blog friends...

It's not exactly going to work out with D.
We talked about it, and considering that we live over 20-minutes away from each other, and go to separate schools, dating probably wouldn't be the best idea.

...sigh.

But, we decided, that if in a few months, we're both still interested either, then why the heck not. We'll give dating a try.

But it's still sad.
In the meantime... we're just gonna be friends still. So... yeah...

Oh well. I'll get over it.

BECAUSE...
My sixteenth birthday is FRIDAY!

(Photo via weheartit)

Ahhh. Have I mentioned that I absolutely heart birthdays? They're great.
I'm excited for this one. My sisterAshley keeps telling me how great my gift is; how I'm going to love it so much. Hopefully it's as good as she claims. ;)

In other news, I think I'm going to start a new series called Photo Friday. I'll post several photos that I have found throughout the week, and possibly incorporate Lauren's Fill In The Blank Friday too.
Hope it works out as great as I'm anticipating. :)

Have a fabulous rest of your Monday!

School and more.

Alright friends, time to get back to reality.

It is, after all, Thursday.

We started new classes on Monday. I think I'm going to like this schedule. I think I got a lot of good teachers - there isn't one that I don't really like. The people in the classes could be better, but, I'm not complaining. ;)
We had a snow day yesterday, thank you Jesus!

You just gotta love those unexpected bursts of happiness that occur so not often enough in Michigan. :)

Okay, okay. Enough about school.

My birthday is next Friday, and on Sunday my youth group is throwing a SuperBowl/Surprise Brittney for her Birthday party. D is gonna be there.

Mmmmhmmm.
I'll tell you more about that next time. ;)

Homework is calling.
